May Day 10K
Kick off your training at the brand-new May Day 10K in beautiful Two Harbors, Minnesota. It’s short, it’s fast, and the course is silky-smoooooth! The May Day 10K will help you get your skate legs back at a very manageable 6.2 miles. After you cross the finish line, stick around and explore this charming North Shore community!
Minnesota Half Marathon
August is the perfect time to test yourself with a half-marathon skate. The Minnesota Half Marathon’s scenic course runs along the Mississippi River near downtown St. Paul. This race is set for August 7, 2010.
NorthShore Inline Marathon
You’ve trained hard. You’ve achieved your benchmarks at the May Day 10K and the Minnesota Half Marathon … now’s the time for a big finish to your season! On September 11, 2010, the NorthShore Inline Marathon will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year, and it’s going to be memorable. Plan to spend a fun family weekend in Duluth, that vibrant city by the bay, and turn your marathon finish into a mini-vacation!
Welcome to the Metrodome Inline Marathon – The world’s only indoor skating marathon! The date for the 2010 event is Saturday, March 27th.
The Metrodome Inline Marathon was originally introduced to the Metrodome as a welcoming and friendly environment for the first time marathon skater all they way up to the professionals. This event is utilized by some skaters to “get in shape” for the up coming marathon season, and by other individuals to challenge their bodies to go further then they have ever gone before. With a full marathon, half marathon and team competition, the Metrodome Inline Marathon is like no other marathon in the world.
Group start times will vary. You will be placed into one of four (4) starting groups based on previous (or estimated) marathon performances. The schedule of events is as follows:
-Registration and Timing Chip Pick-up: Doors at Gate D will open at 8:00 am
-Group 1 (Pro and Advanced skaters): 9:00 am start
-Group 2 (Open and Half Marathon skaters): 10:30 am start
-Group 3 (Team Time Trial): 1:15 pm
-Group 4 (Team Time Trial): *if needed, will start at 2:45 pm
